In the U.S.,Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving is supposedly the biggest shopping day of the year. That's not quite true, though you could argue it's the 'offical' kick-off to the Christmas shopping season. In either case, it's a great excuse to play off fufL's usual Blue Monday posts and gift you with the lovely lady above nicely gift wrapped in lingerie from France's Nuits de Satin. I'm sure you won't be returning her.

Alessandra Ambrosio's Back

It was only this past August that Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio became a VSM - Very Sexy Mom. Yet, in case you're wondering if she'll be seen on the runway at the 2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the answer would be a resounding Yes. Does she look absolutely fantastic, new VSM or not? We'd have to use that 'resounding Yes' again.

Brooke Burke: Winner of More Than Dancing With The Stars

Brooke Burke is the latest Champion of the U.S. version of Dancing with the Stars. If she hadn't won, I think I'd be buying both my girlfriend and my Mother new TVs after they'd thrown a brick at their screens.

Undressed Rehearsal: Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008

Several of the Victoria's Secret Angels gathered in New York at the beginning of the month for lingerie fittings in preparation for this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Angel Marisa Miller has been fitted with invisible Angel wings, or a really good imagination.



Why is it you never see some jobs listed in the Employment section of the paper?



Newest Angel Doutzen Kroes is apparently trying out for the road show of a musical based on Xena, Warrior Princess. Amazing how Gabby's costume still keeps shrinking..

Beyonce Is... Sasha Fierce... and In Her Lingerie

Beyonce's brand new double-CD, 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' is out today, and getting some interesting reviews. I get it - one disc is the sensitive 'If I Were A Boy' Beyonce; the other is her alter ego, Sasha Fierce, who can tell Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). Look at it this way: you get two CDs for the price of one. Like the photos here,somewhere between Knowles and Fierce, how can you lose? Hey, maybe that explanation is good enough to submit here (marketing, much?)

It turns out a Monday bluer than usual. Her lingerie is by Bon'a parte; the scan from the fantastic folks at Bilkoscans. Be prepared for a shock when you click that link - it appears those behind the site are ( say it isn't so! ) calling it quits. I'd been meaning to do another post about them for awhile because A) It's been just a great site, and B) I'd been wanting to thank them for the link they added for frankufotos Lingerie and the great number of hits that this blog got for that reason alone. True, there is a link to their Photobucket archives, but who knows how long it'll exist? Enjoy their work while you can. We'll feature some again in the future, certainly, but all lingerie officiandos owe them a great deal of thanks and admiration for their contributions to the web.

Yes, Heidi Klum Really Is Rocking Out In Her Bra and Panties

If you've seen Risky Business, you've seen Tom Cruise dancing in his tighty whities. Way too many times. (Sorry, Tom, you're not my type.. though my girlfriend said to say she thinks your legs are 'cute'.) So when I first saw the new commercial for Guitar Hero World Tour with Heidi Klum sliding into frame in that white dress shirt, I though, 'my heart, be still - Heidi in tighty whities'. As the commercial played on, and Ms. Klum's shirt stayed on and buttoned, I thought I'd been rooked. Turns out I was- as were the viewers of certain channels without Cruise's ba-- um, guts to show the commercial as it was meant to be. Fear not! While looking for something else entirely (isn't that always the way?) I found the true and proper version of Ms. Klum ('rhymes with Boom Boom' as one magazine once put on their cover for good reason) dancing in her natural state of undress and black lace lingerie.




All is now right with the world. Or will be, when my girlfriend gives a similar performance. Actually, all she's missing is the guitar; she has the black lace. Hmm. Air Guitar Hero works..

Olga Kurylenko: Starring, Shaken and Stirred

The 22nd James Bond epic, Quantum of Solace has it's United States opening today. It follows the successful reboot of the Bond franchise in Casino Royale, starring Daniel Craig (check that link for a resume that makes you wonder why he was never a household name before playing Bond). Of course, as fufL has been telling you, it co-stars Ukrainian model and actress Olga Kurylenko.



Fortunately, Ms. Kurylenko has an extensive portfolio of lingerie modeling behind her (see above behind as proof).



You'll also find her on the cover of the December 2008 issue of Maxim Magazine, and, until we run out of visions of her in various states of undress, in posts on this very blog.

Being that it's been getting quite colder in the northeast United States where fufL is based, these photos of actress Rachel Leigh Cook in what may be the world's only knitted wool lingerie seemed perfect to the season.



Even with a good deal less fabric and showing a good deal more skin, you'd have to agree: looking at her in that outfit makes you a good deal warmer than long johns..

Adriana Lima Is Your $5 Million 2008 Victoria's Secret Fantasy

As reported by London's Daily Telegrah:

The bra, which also boasts white diamonds and rubies, weighs 1,500 carats and is believed to be one of the most valuable items of underwear ever made.

Two tear-shaped black diamonds, with a combined weight of 100 carats, hang down from the middle.

The one-off bra - which contains 3,900 gems in total - is modeled by Brazilian Adriana Lima in the Victoria's Secret Christmas catalogue.

It was created by Martin Katz, the rare gem jeweler who has worked on previous luxury lingerie for the firm.

"This year, I've really enjoyed working with non-traditional gems," he said. "So, what better avenue, to showcase nearly 3,600 black diamonds than on the most extravagant holiday gift."

He added: "Designing it for a gorgeous Brazilian supermodel wasn't exactly a let-down either."

Don't hate Mr. Katz because he's one of the luckiest jewelers on the face of the earth. Ms. Lima will be modeling the Fantasy Bra during this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show December 3rd, this year from a new location in Miami.
